Description
Genesis is the latest release from Macallan to celebrate the opening of the brand new state of the art 140m distillery and Visitors centre near Craigellechie.
The bottling tells the story of lead architect Graham Stirk’s vision for the site and “reflects each painstaking step in The Macallan whisky-making process”.
With a signed lithographic print created by one of only two remaining map printing presses in the UK and housed in a beautiful presentation case made with cotton paper from the Magnani paper mill in Chiesina Uzzanese, Italy. The quality is such that these are said to "never degrade,
Limited to only 2500 bottles the initial release of 350 bottles closed the road to the new distillery as the demand was so great. Even though this bottle is a No Age Statement whisky this bottle represents a major part in Macallan's Future History which collectors across the globe want to have a part of.

About the Distillery:
The Macallan distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Craigellachie, Moray, Scotland. The Macallan Distillers Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Edrington, which purchased the brand from Highland Distillers in 1999.
The Macallan is generally considered to be the second or third highest-selling single-malt scotch, next to Glenfiddich and, by some accounts, Glenlivet.
