An amazing well-sherried cask strength release, This expression bottled in 2008 was released to commemorate 40 years of the 105 cask strength Glenfarclas. With an extra 30 years in the cask than the normal 105 release, its amazing how the 60% ABV was maintained over the 4 decades. There are only 893 bottles of this in the world.

About the Distillery:
Glenfarclas distillery a Speyside whisky distillery in Ballindalloch, Scotland. Glenfarclas translates as meaning valley of the green grass. The distillery is owned and run by the Grant family. The distillery has six stills which are the largest on Speyside and are heated directly by gas burners.
The distillery has a production capacity of around 4 million litres of spirit per year. Normally four stills are used for production with two kept in reserve.
