Description

An exclusive single cask of only 575 bottles made to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of its reopening. Presented in a beautifully crafted wooden and Copper box this release was distilled on 21st August 1998 before the bottling on 21st August 2018. Benromach Cask No 1 contains whisky from the first cask to be laid down at the Speyside distillery when it reopened in 1998, following 15 years of silence. The first-fill Sherry butt was signed by His Royal Highness the Duke of Rothesay, Prince Charles, during the distillery’s official opening ceremony in 1998. this is bottle 346 of 575.
