Description
The Macallan distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Craigellachie, Moray. The Macallan Distillers Ltd, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Edrington Group which purchased the brand from Highland Distillers in 1999.
Named after the Easter Elchies house on the Macallan estate, a stunning bottle from the ever collectable series.
The 2011 edition was distilled in 1997 and matured in Sherry butt casks before being bottled at 14 years old.
Only 550 of these limited edition bottles were made available to visitors to the Macallan estate, in November and December 2011.
