Description
The Private Vintage collection from Glenfiddich is a selection of single cask bottlings, produced between 2001 and 2008. Each cask was exclusively selected for and bottled for private parties and retailers.
This is one of only two 2002 single cask releases alongside a Vintage Reserve bottling for Asia. Cask #2433 was specially selected for British Airways and exclusively sold on flights of its Concorde aircraft, the former jewel in its fleet.

About the Distillery:
The Glenfiddich Distillery was founded in 1886 by William Grant in Dufftown, Scotland, in the glen of the River Fiddich. The Glenfiddich single malt whisky first ran from the stills on Christmas Day, 1887. In the 1920s, with prohibition in force in the US, Glenfiddich was one of a very small number of distilleries to increase production.
