Description

England’s Bimber Distillery has announced a new line of single malts, dubbed Shoulder of Giants, that pays tribute to the world’s greatest thinkers, innovators and visionaries. The first batch of whiskies in the collection are single casks, three of which are exclusive to Poland, with the other three only available in the UK.

This release celebrates Nicolaus Copernicus' contribution to the understanding of astronomy. This single malt whisky has been matured in a PX-Sherry cask, before being bottled in November 2023 at a strength of 56.8% ABV.

    Bimber is a Whisky distillery in London. 'Bimber' means moonshine in Polish. The founders of the distillery emigrated to London from Poland in 2003 to start their business. The first casks were filled in May 2016. Since 2019, the distillery has been bottling Whisky in small batches or from single casks. Among them are mainly Ex-Bourbon and Sherry casks but also fresh Virgin Oak casks.
