Description
On the shore of Bassenthwaite Lake, near Keswick in The Lake District UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Lakes Distillery is an award-winning whisky distillery attracting over 100,000 visitors each year.
This whisky was first matured in Oloroso hogsheads before it was finished in casks made-up of American and European oak to add a layer of dried fruit and vanilla. Finally, these two components were married together in orange wine casks from the Spanish region of Andalucia and bottled at cask strength.
This is bottle number 91 of only 101 bottles released.
